Nice pic Daniel, great perspective with the camera phone - the table looks gigantic :-)

Best wishes,
Steve

At first I thought the camera phone was crap, to be used only when something important/cool/amazing happened when a camera wasn't available. But now I love these photos. They're not the best quality, but I think they have some artistic merit.

BTW Mary - do I get my name credited for the band's name when you hit it big?

Very strange image..like a part of a road movies series...I like it!! You changed the whole thing!
I like you comment on my "rose affection" too!!
You gave me a great idea for a band...my title Ministry of Tenderness!!! Cool!
kiss!

I love the graininess and desaturation of this camera phone picture.

As for the composition, it might have been nice without the two lights at the top. But being a camera phone picture, maybe you wouldn't want to crop it and have to start to look worked on.

Anyway, I really like this, and think the composition of where the balls lay is very good!

weird thing about the camera phone. the picture usually sucks, especially compared to what's being posted on usefilm, but usually the camera phone is for unexpected moments, or funny moments, or if you happen to be on the beach and a girl's top falls off (hehehe, had to throw that in there).

I guess what I'm trying to say is that you don't have to have a professional looking picture all of the time to actually enjoy the picture (not that this picture is very enjoyable, but it is funny to me, and i now have a new hobby of taking pictures of things that i think are funny on cars or trucks with my camera phone).

This image almost makes me want to get one, to have fun with it.

Sort of like me wanting to get a Holga.

Almost.

Thanks for the advice samantha. i started to edit this photo, but i didnt like the way it looked when I cropped it so I just left it as is. next time though, i will do it differently. i like the idea of taking it head on, it probably would have looked better.

I love the idea..very funny, but here's what I would have done differently shot wise. I would have took this shot head on, and not shown any of the detail around the subject, as it takes away from the theme, and would have gotten rid of the glare from the glass, hope this is helpful, thanks for listening

That might be a full time course trying to learn this. Some think they can but usually fail in the long run. Great capture. Don.

Most people would just point the camera down on the cat, but you got down to their world and it's like seeing it from their eyes. Also I like the quality that the camera phone produces, almost like a Lomo or Holga.

It takes on a quality with the lighting, that's almost believeable in a fantasy sort of sense. Keep making photos with that cameraphone!

OK, I apologise greatly, normally my comments would be about your technical qualities, and the value of your photography. But there is something more important than photography to think about at the moment.

Send that in to NASA and tell them you saw that thru your telescope. :-) The blue color is beautiful. I think that is the first time I have ever seen a flame from top to the bottom.

Thanks Dan, I am probably as old as this house. You need to associate me with older things...
It is nice that you remember things like this picture and associate it with your Mom. Remember the good times as they dissapear sooner than you think. Thanks again. Don.
