Hi Greg. It's not often we see pictures of the southern lights, only the northern. We're getting more aurora activity on Earth right now because of an active region on the sun. I think this shot is fine, I like it with the city lights, very beautiful. The grain/noise is probably a result of your camera, many digitals have this problem still. There is a great program called Neat Image that will help with this problem by filtering out digital noise. You can download a demo from their website.

You're brave to wade that far out with your camera! I'd be very nervous about it. Still, it was worth it. A very nice shot! The colors are spectacular!

Nice, I bet you can really open up your bike on that empty road. Great shot.

Don't know if it's intentional, (or my imagination) but I see 2 diffrerent faces looking in different directions. I really like the way in wich you manipulate your images. Nice work. BTW, one of Saturn's moons is named after Pan.

I been looking through all your gymnastics shots, they're all wonderful. I like this one especially, it's very sharp and framed perfectly. Very nice work.

Hey Dan, I see you like sports photography. Thanks for your comment on Shelton Benjamin, I got the timing right on that one. This is equally as cool, I love cool moments frozen in time! Nice work.

That's right Jeff, it's hard to expose the moon enough during totality without getting movement at the same time. This was a 1 second exposure, with a some enhancing afterwards.

That's a nice lens you've got there. Nice sharp picture, nicely exposed too. Great work! I'm in NJ too and was able to catch about half of the eclipse before the clouds rolled in. I managed to get a shot of the eclipse at totality, check out my portfolio if you like.

Hey Bob! Nice capture! I was able to get a few myself, but the clouds rolled in before I was finished. Oh well, there's always 2007!
