Imags like these amaze me. They seem so simple and in fact they are "easy". Just find a nice exposed rock, put camera on tripod and shoot.
But there is so much more to this than what appears. First, the photographer must be able to see the motion before it happens and know the water's path and look. The exposure must be judged on something that is not there. The time of day has to be right and so on. This is an excellent example of such previsualization at work. Good job!

Amazingly, beautiful from the light reflection where the gulls are standing to the flow of the water and the contrast of the clouds against the sunset. Spectucular! Well done. Best regards.

Beautiful capture Eric. I love these slow shutter images. I find it a real challenge to get successful slow shutter images but you have even caught the sun beautifully here. See I would have burnt that like toast. Your work is an inspiration. Wonderful image. Cheers - Ann

Lovely classic looking landscape. Rule of thirds in full effect here... maybe try adding some form of sunset filter to help dramatize the sky for a little extra oomph if you think it might be necessary. Also, presentation would probably look better with a dark border or matte, I think.
