Thanks, Ken.

The signs pointed to restrooms and various classrooms. They had been moved to a corner against a white stucco wall after the service.

I really like the strong graphics and interesting colors. I'm not sure about all the minor little details. I like the realism and clarity, but at the same time I find them distracting. If this were my photo, I'd consider some abstracting manipulation to emphasize the graphics. I did this with Elements using a brushstroke filter. Hope you don't think I've vandalized your work--I mean this with greatest respect.

Wow! I feel like the child is in the same room with me. I love the tremendous presence of this close up shot, with the haunting face.

I like this a lot. Like abstract art, it raises a lot of questions, which makes it quite interesting. Questions like, how is this lit, what kind of signs are these, what are they pointing at, are there more, what are those white spots, what's the background. The composition is deceptively simple. There's really a lot going on in this photograph. Nice work.

John,
I'm not sure I see a lot of problems ... I do agree though that the symmetry between the sign and pedestrians is nice. I might have punched up the color in the sign a bit, to increase the contrast of the yellow sign and the almost monochromatic blue throughout the rest of the image. I like it.

Beautiful portrait, John! To me, the flower in her hair is a symbol of pride and self-worth. It's nice to see she has it!

Arthur, thanks.

Actually, I put in the wrong info. It was actually a 50 mm prime lens.

I greatly appreciate your input.

Fantastic photo, I cannot decide if this makes me happy or sad! Looking at this again, she looks unhappy maybe hungry, wish I could help. Makes you take a step back in life and realise how well we have it sometimes.
Great pic, stirs the emotions.
