I do hope you still use it. I like classic cameras and try to use all of mine. This does look like an ad - you've left a little space on the left for some writing! Regards, Gary

Hello Marcos.
As Erin pointed out, this photo has very good contrast between the dark shadows and the bright light. You did a good job of capturing that, and the result is quite dramatic.
It is also usually a good idea to have a specific subject in mind when composing a photograph, something the eye can dwell on while looking at the picture.
Best wishes to you, and I hope you keep shooting and improving.
Jason.

El horizonte inclinado y la perpectiva tan centrada en mi opinión degradan la imagen. Un abrazo!

Marcos,
I agree with what John told you about the exposure, and about getting practice. To me, this photo looks like the camera was in auto (does it have a manual setting?) and tried to find balance between proper exposure for the sky and for the boat. The result is a sky that's a little overexposed, especially the top left, and the foreground is underexposed and dark.
Thanks for stopping by my portfolio and commenting on my photo - it is appreciated.
Bye 4 now, Jason.

I have to say this is a great perspective on a pair of Chucks! Excellent use of compositional techniques - framing within the frame and using B&W.

Now that I've uploaded the picture, I think the sharpening I applied is too strong.
But still, maybe you'll find the cropping to be interesting.

Hah, looks like you caught them in a moment.
I see that you framed the picture with a sense of symmetry regarding the bricks, but I wonder if this picture might be more effective if you cropped in closer to the moths?
Here's one version of how you might crop it, along with a little more color saturation and some PS sharpening. I tried to maintain some of the pattern of the bricks behind the moths...
