Beautiful mother and child capture. B&W emphasises the bond because it seems to be centred on the facial expressions. Clever idea to have only the baby's eyes open.

I love the shot; it's 3 best mates posing proudly for the photo.
The first first boy has been cropped a little too tightly, and that navy top and red (bag?) in the background make the eye wander from the main focus (the faces). The facial expression of the middle child is brilliant.

I really like this shot but wonder what it would be like if it was taken from a lower angle close to the bottle, possibly with less of the sky and tree tops in the frame....
I feel that sort of composition would concentrate attention more on the main section of the image while giving it a more artistic feel.....
Just thinking out loud really!

Scares me just looking at it! My friends invited me on an upcoming 3 day camping trip. They are going to raft the Oocee (here in TN). I said no though because I know I would be the only one who wouldn't do it. Does make a nice picture though :)
