Saw one of these in the wild last month..was fantastic. He was running in front of the car for several miles to his den and didn't seemed concerned about the vehicle....wish i could have gotten as close as this!....wow! you sure get a feel of the gaze in this shot.

Hey good to see some new ones from you. I was just in Inuvik while driving the Dempster as well as touring Alaska...got to see the colors.....and now am waiting for the fall colors here!

Hi James, let me know when you are coming over and I can let you know where I think there will good stuff to see. We were up there for more then a month living out of a tent for most of that time. This was my second drive up there poking around. The best time see,s to be from mid August to First week in Oct. When the color is pretty much gone.

Hi Doyle I have been on the road for more then a month living in a tent near the Arctic circle. Thanks for taking the time for Crit. It is true the colors are a bit tooooo much. I was in the field while processing this image and there was just a bit to much light on the laptop screen ..... to late now except acknowledging that i could have turned the saturation down in the red department.
