Peter, You succeed to get great results from the stitching. Unfortunately, I do not do a lot of post processing. (Using IrfanView to adjust colours and neat image to take out some of the noise if necessary). It is about time for me to show more serious attitude for my hobbies

This is an amazing catch. This fly looks as if he just went out from the barber shop. Although you have used a ring flash there is still shadow below the insect, as if the light came also from above it. (Is the daylight?). Regards, Noam.

Indeed the exposure setting was a compromise here. (It was set to +1, knowing that some portions will be overexposed). I guess taking such a photo later in the afternoon would have been better.
