Im sorry to say though mate that I dont think Im as good as you think I am.
It does not take a good or even great photographer to know that something is good or bad and if you have your images on a critique site, you will get a critique good or bad.
You certainly see yourself as an untouchable as far as the old photography goes.

Ben you didnt upset me one bit.We have all seen your kind before (like in I am the greatest photograoher that ever lived type.You must be getting swell headed by all the comments you have recieved for this absolutly amazing shot.One of the best shots I have ever ever seen.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!You will be the envy of Usefilm for this incredable image.I did note that you only did get one comment without any downers.The rest where telling you what to do and your own comments.We all await on your next great shot (they never learn do they)

Hey Im sorry my comment upset you, I thought it was an honest enough critique.
As you might see I had Peter tell me what was wrong with my image and was pleased he brought it to my atention.
I only have one photo on as I have just joined.

you can dare bet that if you get a downer comment even just a tad, you can bet your bottom dollar that the person that has made that comment, either has very very very little on or there photos are very bad.As it happens your right it is a touch out of focus but have a look at all my other work and tell me how nice and sharp they are.By the by, love your first photo very good.(dont take this to heart I am just making a point.

Nice work .. perhaps the lighting on the front mushroom could have been little better, as is the sharpness on the front of the hood .. sometimes macrowork is mostly about manual settings, also working without AF !
