I love how his whole face is buried in the flower and the softness is very nice. I wish his hand weren't cut off. Very appealing photo.

Greetings Jen & Drew Photo has excellent contrasting colors, my only suggestion, the red of the flow is coming across just a bit soft on my screen, Best Regards, Sandra

Very nice soft macro effect. I have family in Wausau and Friendship. I miss these flowers. I especially miss the Lilacs. Perhaps you could post a photo or two when they are in bloom? Blessings to you and yours.

It seems that the focus is where it needs to be , on the eye.Composition is not bad, color is a little washed out and I wish there was more DOF.Also scanner did not do this image justice.

Hello Dan, this is Drew Hoyer. What programs are you using to tweak your pictures? And what filters and sharpening tools do you use? The picture you re-did is great, especally the white "sails" in the forground. thanks for the comments.

This has the makings of a good image. The horizon need to be straightened and the noise in the scan needs to be cleaned up also the white object in the foreground is overexposed.

Good! I adore this kind of picures. The composition is good. You have captured the scene from a very interesting point. Nevetheless, there is an aspect I think you did not resolved in a proper way. In my opinion, your photo needs contrast, and sharp. We have to finish the work that the camara has begin. In night conditions everything is a bit more difficult for our friend (the camera), and this do not means that we are changing the picture. The only problem i find is that your sky is so clear that becomes white with a high level of these effects. perhaps an other friend could help us! jaja! Anyway, this is my opinion and I hope it will be useful for you.

Not sure if this was meant to be kitsch or not - I think it's great, though a drop more colour would add to the effect.

Beautiful, peaceful image. The only distraction is the telephone pole in the lower portion. Sort of moderizes a natural scene. Maybe try to clone it out? Still is a 7 though...I love the sunshine and glassy lake.

How you did that? It looks like you shot it half way inside wather, but the lower part of the picture shows the reflexion like it is the surface. Nice efect,
Raamses.
