Thanks for your response...the lake is low because it is fall and lake is base for irrigation for Yakima valley. It will fill up with winter sno-pack...

Thanks for your response...of the many, many times I have visited the canyon (just down the road from my house), this is one of the most beautiful moments I have experienced. It's a truly awesome experience to visit the Yakima canyon in its finery...

Thanks for your comments, even though you are confused. Photo is rather abstract, but is not manipulated in any fashion other than to tweak colors...If you look at lower bottom right you can see game trail along bottom of hill. The remainder is like a moonscape, which is rather stunning to see in real life. THe Painted Hills are and "out of this world' place to visit.

Thanks for your response...Black/White dogs are a bit difficult to get right exposure, especially with contrasting brilliant white snow. This is one of my better shots of my good boy, Hobo. His intensity is quite evident. He's the BEST!!!!
