This is beautiful .... the white sparkling snow with RED apples, awesome shot . Love the exposure, and the crop ... and I have been to Madras. 7++++++

Very beautiful composition Tom... I love the detail and dof, shadows, and of course those wonderful amazing clouds ...Yep this is Oregon... I am curious as to where you are , but I haven't traveled thru Or. for a few years . I do live in Lincoln City for the past 15 yrs. minus a few waundering off periods...
I love the colors .

Thanks for your response. I did play around with this pic in Photoshop and tried to lighten the deep shadow of the right mountain side. I am a bit color blind so often don't get colors quite correct, but none the less, I think this is a nice representation of the beautiftomul country side in the Oregon desert.

Thanks for your response. I do love impressionistic art (Monet, Degas, Manet, Renoir et.al.), So I do try to give some impressionistic feeling to many of my pics, mostly without the use of PS alteration...Sometimes it works...othertimes...OH Well...

I think ypu have a wonderful impressionistic eye why not try to make photogaphs not paintings cause this is what most of your work look like , i think they will be greater if they look like photos more than paintings
