Very sweet shot. Talk about opportunistic! The snake's putting on quite the show, considering he has no venom. Brave little sucker isn't he?

Cheers Mate, Keep up the good work!

Very nice shot, Joshua! Chandler Park was this? Nice depth of field illustrates the immediacy of the shot. Very impressive!

Cheers,
Shannon

Josh, I usaully shop at B&H Photo online. They have good prices and gives you a little background info on the filters themselves. Just plug the name into yahoo and pull it up from there. Hope this works out. Lamaro....

I was looking at neutral density filters, but I don't know which one to get, any more advice on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

Josh,

I think there is something going on with your focusing because just looking at it hurts eyes. You seem to have the compositioning down, now move on to the technicalities of your camera. Look and see what focusing options your have and or use a neutral density filter to tone down a notch. I hope this helps. Good Luck....

this is a very thoughtful provoking shot; it's almost mystical. you took it from an interesting point, it makes me feel like you were hiking and fell in a ditch; very cool. the stark white on the top of the photograph works well, when juxtaposed with the darker cooler lower 2/3 of the of the picture. it's slightly flat, but good shot! keeping going!

very nice, certaintly the best one so far. do you have anything with the same composition but longer exposure? i think it could be nice to see the water turn into misty white in this situation/composition. if you do have another version, please upload.
Uri.

a bit messy but i like the colors tone and the composition, i just wish there weren't that many trees in the background. like i always say- you should always carry a chain saw with you...
