Depends on where you intend to use the shot. As a stand alone picture I don't think they add anything but the fact that the picture is angled indicates that it might not be a stand alone shot.

I would of prefured to see that main image left on the black ground. Or instead of using black, why not trying using christmas paper for the background.

Hi Mandy, I like this format overall. The layout is pleasant and consistant. My eye seems to scan each of Kira's photos easily. I like the way Josephs pictures work together, but the layout is difficult to focus on. It seems I have the hardest time focusing on Josephs eyes in the transperancy becasue the two pictures on the bottom bring my focus down toward them.
BTW - I worked on the Wood Stove in my portfolio, but pulled the original off the site by accident. (Thought I had previously changed a pic w/out affecting the comments) The rework of it is posted and the origianl is in the comment section, but lost your original comment. You thought it was too dark overall, and after reviewing it...it was. Please take a look.

Thank you I am glad this is appreciated. I wasnt going to post it at all actually. Glad I did. I had all three of my girls in girl scouts (different age levels of course) but all at the same school. It was fun.
I also think this type of look would be awesome for promo postcards.

I have to say -- I *really* love these posters you do. The wedding one you did was truly exceptional! I'll probably steal a few of your ideas when I do mine. I still have yet to do one of these, but at least now I have some good examples to emulate.

The montage is done very nicely but the images themselves need a bit more work in my opinion. On the color image I am finding the shadows very harsh and some fill light there would have worked nicely (I understand if flash was not allowed). On the B&W image on the left the same hard shadows are showing on the man's face and again I think some fill lighting here would have helped. Overall the images are nicely composed and arranged nicely on the montage.
