Thanks for the comments Mark; I was on a vacant back road when I took this one so no one was in danger except for me and the truck ... lol.
I do think the mounting kit would be a cool fun project.

I'm not usually a fan of fancy frames, but you have done a good job of featuring the bird in what you did here. The thing that really intrigues me about this shot are the out-of-focus branches both in front and behind the heron. Not an easy thing to have the focus lock on the right spot I imagine...

Thanks Rebecca, I used PS Elements 2.0, I have 7.0 but Elements is much easier, I've seen it as low as $59 bucks at Sam?s Club. I have two books that have really come in handy. One is: 40 Digital Photo Retouching Techniques, Author Zack Lee, Go Digital series, Youngjin.com. The second one is; the digital Photographer's guide to Photoshop Elements by Barry Beckham, LARK BOOKS. Both these books to me are worth every penny and I use them all the time, they have step by step guidance on all kinds of effects, clean-up and object removal.
I hope this helps.
