Thanks Paul. When I scanned this image from the negative, I didn't know as much about what I was doing as I do now(I hope). I did boost the contrast too much in PS Elements which resulted in those unsightly bands. Here is another version that is much cleaner, I think.

This is a wonderful shot, but (I'm guessing) boosting the contrast of this image in Photoshop has caused banding in the sky.

This almost looks abstract with the thumbnail - I love the feel of this image - the texture is fabulous!
