Glad to see you've posted more photos. This one is serene, and I was surprised that it was from Florida. It looks like one from your Kyoto portfolio. Keep 'em coming. and look up Randal Dean on USEFILM. I think you'll like his stuff.

Evocative shot. The textures in the street are well shown, and the tracks only add to the interest. Richard Dean

Stunning photo of the Grand Canyon. I very much like the vertical orientation, and the sky completes the perspective nicely. R. Dean

Gerhard, I sat in front of the tripod, as my assistant periodically covered the open lens, allowing me to change hand positions without excessive blurring. Thanks for your comment. Richard

Wonderful and educational as usual. The colors of the powders are so saturated and primary, especially with the contrast of the plates below. I hope the wind doesn't come up. Richard Dean

If I get a comment, I always immediately view that person's portfolio. That's one of the things about USEFILM that is so appealing -- the building of a community. It works great and I get to see this fabulous photo of (Maine Coon?) your cat, when otherwise I may never have seen it. This guy wears my favorite cat color combination. Thanks, and give Face a treat for me. Richard Dean

Thanks Paul. When I scanned this image from the negative, I didn't know as much about what I was doing as I do now(I hope). I did boost the contrast too much in PS Elements which resulted in those unsightly bands. Here is another version that is much cleaner, I think. Richard Dean
