Fascinating and compelling, both artistically and tecnically. I see what you did with PS, and I find myself absorbed in trying to reconstruct the original image. But it also speaks to me about the universal dependance of the whole on the parts, in an infinite scale, and all that metaphysical stuff....

Gidday Michael, just browsing through and thought I'd stop here a while (looks very filmic) I like the values you're putting across and try sometimes to do the same myself. Not nature in terms of graded pastures but the wild spots, seeking out the spirit of the place.
Just looking at the picture again, wow it's a huge scene. I wish I had some technical advice but I'm a total pleb with the camera. . Nice to meet you!
Good luck with your future studies and your future sunsets.
I'll stick you on the associates list and keep an eye out for you from here west of the southern Alps in new Zealand.

I like it a lot, but I would have liked it a lot more if it weren't for the very dark areas with the trees.

Regards,
Ciprian

Like the expression! lol. Nice shot, I like how you left the brush in the back ground above the water fall. Very cool.

Amazing. I love how the trees seem to just open up for the spectacular view of the snow topped mountain. Great calming blues in the foreground as well. Excellent capture!

bell'idea, bellissimo cielo, ma è un misto tra un controluce e un paesaggio, che a mio modesto parere non è venuto benissimo. scanner sporco o pellicola rovinata?

Nice sunset Michael, I think this was perhaps a difficult contrast filled scene. I probably would have metered for the sky as well, and the reflection on the bottom looks good. The darkness of the midground seems to pull your attention away from the sky and reflections in the foreground.
