Beautiful photo. The monochrome colours of the building form a nice contrast with the sitting person. The dof & framing makes the whole scene look like a stage, with the architecture as decor-pieces.

Very beautiful street scene. Lovely hat as well :-) But damn those high-end digital cameras!! It's so sharp, it hurts my eyes! A bit of grain and softness would be nice (or am I just jealous? ;-)).

Very beautiful composition. The use of a filter to make the clouds more visible would have been nice (I know, those Bay-1 filters are hard to find...)

Excellent street photo with a classic look. Mohammad looks like a giant between the buildings. Well done.

Very nice photo. Excellent composition and timing. I just miss the black frame you used on your other photo's.

Very original photo! At first I thought you photoshopped (sp?) this photo, but you used your creativity to manipulate it :-)

Wow... this looks weird. Weird but beautiful. It's like looking at the lake from the inside of a glass bottle (maybe with a message inside?? :-))

Very beautiful photo. I'm wondering what kind of work he's doing... (is that a rare BMW 6-series prototype in the background?? ;-))

Since I don't have a dark room (yet :-)), I've had it developed at the local drugstore.

Thank you both for your comments. I appreciate the suggestion for cropping the image, but i want to keep the focus on the pillar. It gives a nice contrast between the busy market and the timelessness of the massive pillar.

The composition seems to reflect the relationship between the man and the woman. The lighting and greenish cast (?or is it my monitor?) add to the cold atmosphere evoked by the woman. Very beautiful photo!
