Susan, you are right in the mist of the water fall! Nice image with the boulder and tree to frame the water fall. I find myself wanting to look over the water fall and then follow the flow of water down stream.

Susan, welcome to usefilm! Very creative comp...love the B&W which is sooooooooooo appropriate for subject matter IMO...i can see this with a thin black frame...maybe a bit more contrast to show a tad bit more detail in background...-Gayle

The idea is fine, the prior two comments are correct in terms of focus and exposure, but then it may have been your wish, if so then I would increase the blur, and add contrast... although the Tmax should have proffered the latter.
