I agree with Geoff about the angle. Apart from that, i like it because the single dominant color emphasises the rythm and the strong lines.

I like the way the roe is positioned in front of the yellow flowers. This way it stands out in a way that it never would have done in front of the green trees. I know how shy these animals are, so i can only say: well done!

One of the best i've seen for a while. Well timed, great compostion.

I like the composition in three large blocks and the nice details. The stone in the foreground, the lines leading to the farm. A beautifull place.

Interesting...
If i wasn't puzzled enough by the image, it even gets worse by the discussion. The fame of emperor Orzack has not reached the European continent yet, so i quickly did some investigation and googled on Orzack. And look what i found as the first result.
Interesting....

Nice image, taken under difficult circumstances. I like dimmed color and the details in the rocks, only i would crop from the top of the image because the sky doesn't add much. You could also try to darken the sky to add more atmosphere.

I am afraid i can't help you, but i guess the first letter is an 'A' (rotated). Second guess: The blue figures are not be interpreted as letters, that would mean it are 6 letters in total. So UF-ers: 5 comments to go....

Wonderful moment, beautiful light. I like the way you kept a lot of space around them. This is the way you want your kids to remember their childhood. I nice save place, enjoying the company of your friends.

Very good composed portrait. I like the way it puts the character in context.

Lydia, thanks for your suggestion. Actually, i am planning to return to the spot a number of times throughout the year. I will try it out.

The trees are grey alder (Alnus incana) and are related to the birch.

Nice portrait. I like the bright colors and the (almost) square composition. The brush on the diagonal and the pink in the top right returning in the bottom left make it special.

Amazing how everything fits in this image. The tree between the clouds, the triangle formed by the clouds, the emptyness of the landscape. Impressive!

Good use of the low position of the sun to create structure in the field, creating leading lines.
For some reason i have the feeling the horizon isn't straight. But probably that's because i am used to trees that bend to the east because of the prevailing winds from the west. Still, i like your image very much.

That's a beautiful place. I like the compostion and the colors. I only wonder how it would look like with a faster shutterspeed. I guess that would leave more details in the water accentuating the speed of the water.

You can see they are having a good time. Good composition with lines that guides the eye to the subjects. Well done.

I won't call this beautiful, but it certainly has attitude. I like the composition, with the hand pushing at the frame.

At first, looking at the thumbnail, i was curious about the title. It looked just green. Then i took a closer look and saw the yellow flowers.
Nevertheless, i like the image because of the nice balanced composition and the fresh colors.

Good use of the leading lines to guide the eye to the subject. Probably, underexposing a little would have left more detail in the sky. But apart from that, a nice image.

Can't add much to the other comments. This is a very nice portrait of a beautiful girl. I like the mood of the image. One small thing: i think you should try to enhance the highlight in the eye to the right (her left eye).

A beautiful place well captured. I like the composition, the only thing i can image to improve on it would be to crop a thin slice from the top. I also think it would have been nice if the rocks at the far (right) end of the pool would be lighter.

I like the colors and the composition (esp. the way the edges of the petals lead the eye to the center). Simply beautiful.

The absence of objects in the foreground seems to make this image stronger. I also like the band of light around the trees. Good work!

Interesting flower, good details and good DoF. The only thing that bothers me is that there too much color in the background. May be using a colored sheet of paper could have been placed between the flower and the other elements.
