Very nice shot. I think that croping the background out would make the portrait to be a usual one. I like the photo as it is.

Yo pienso que la fotografia es excelente como esta, ya que si integramos a los sujetos de atras y la casa que da una estupenda compsicion, la fotografia cuenta una historia da a entender muchas cosas. mas, si la cortamos empieza a perder fuerza y se vuelve una fotografia convencional.

Igor, i really like this. Very good pose and expressions. But i would prefer the vertical composition the emphasis the main subject as i find the people behind distracting.

Yes, I thought that was probably the reason. You obviously don't feel that the few heads fitting into a portrait-mode shot are enough. I'm glad you weren't too annoyed (some people HATE having their photos touched). Or maybe you were but kindly decided to say nothing... I very, very rarely do this--indeed only when I see a really exceptional shot, as this one is. Powerful woman!!

Very powerful, but I wonder why you didn't crop to a vertical (portrait) mode, as this would have emphasized the woman's powerful presence still further. I took the liberty of showing you what I mean. I hope you are not offended.
