Very nice floral close-up Ehab. Lovely colors and very good depth of field. There are a few white spots in the background that distract a little and the image gould use a bit more sharpness. Lighting is a bit flat and therefore the wonderful details in the Orchid aren't as good visible as should be....Best regards, Harry

Great shot Jeroen. Youv'e captured the car and the big KLM jumbo perfectly in one shot, but the most beautiful detail in this image for me is the bird on the lamp-post, with it's wings spread out like the big plain over his head, that adds an extra point of interrest. ...Best regards, Harry

A bit of the same softness and color cast like in the image "Turfwar" you did submit earlier Jeroen, but nevertheless very nice capture. I myself did use Velvia 100F slide film sometimes and had the same problem with the color cast....Best regards, harry

Good capture Jeroen. Very nice scene. Pity the image isn't a little sharper and there is some kind of a blue/purple color cast in the image that might be caused by the velvia 100F slide film youv'e used....Best regards, Harry

Thanks Randy. I feel stupid that I didn't notice the halo in this image before and did submit it without looking at it very well. Normally I'm rather keen on these sort of distractions and do work on it the same way you did discribe. I will look better at an image like this next time I submit one. Much better sharpness indeed Joe. The wonderful detailed wings are much better visible and the shadow of the dragonfly is very nice to. The only small minus in this image is the tight crop on the lower wing....Best regards, Harry

What a georgious scene youv'e captured here Bill. Wonderful expression. It seems like the little kitten is as much interrested in Brieanna as Brieanna is interrested in making a good picture of the kitten. Please don't give her a digital camera to soon Bill, but let her work with analog camera's as long as possible so she will learn to look at composition and not hitting the shutter as often as possible such as to often happends when people start off with digital to soon. It's to easy to delete and do it all over again, Congratulations with Staff Choice, it's very well deserved....Best regards, Harry

Beautiful Pelican image Christopher. Wonderful backlighting. Sharpness, DOF and exposure are great, but the pelican on the right side doesn't add to the image and without it, all attention go's to the pelican in front, wich is the main subject in my opinion....Best regards, Harry

The sunflowers aren't very sunny anymore after a few days in the flower parade as it seems like Teunis, but the still life youv'e made of it is nevertheless very nice.....Ik heb in maart 4550 opnames van de adelaars gemaakt, waarvan 1/3 deel gebruikt om het vangen van vissen goed in beeld te brengen. Daarvan zijn 1200 de prullenmand in gegaan en dus heb ik ongeveer 300 goede opnames overgehouden.....Groet, Harry
