this is really cool!!! try adjusting the levels in photoshop... this will give brilliant colors and hightlights! but yah... this image is beautiful!

Thanks for all your comments Ciprian! I live in Oban in Argyll in the west Highlands. It's certainly quite scenic round here; it's hard to go far without feeling the need to take a few photos!

I love this photo, it reminds me of when I was in Scotland 2 years ago. I spent two weeks painting the Highlands and I fell in love with it and the people. I could live there in a heartbeat. You are so lucky! Thanks for sharing your wonderful photographs! I'll enclose a photo of the pastel I painted of the Highland Bulls. Pat

Lovely place to go for a stroll. I'm not particularly keen on the very black foreground, but I guess there wasn't much you could have done about that, it's just the time of day.
Very well composed I like the aged look, that's what attracted me in the first place. Long time ago yesterday...
