Hi Hugo...well I like this quite a bit - expression is where it's at! Very young and fresh with an air of sophistication -- And I do like the intentional play on contrast - dark background, available light illuminating her. I'm a hat person too! I so like that this is film -- Although we've all gone digital - film to me on BW is really pure - true black and white, my humble opinion. Patrick awesome tones here and mood. BW works extremely well and "the man" just pops. I'm not getting the feeling he's looking directly at you, perhaps because his eyes are in shadow - but I'm feeling more of an intensity of him involved in the game...perhaps he's analyzing his next move - love the play in lines....balls lining street curb, people also in line...very strong in linear lines. Menno I like your vision Graphically very strong. I like that the blue of sky is very similar in tone off the windows. Yellow intense to. So a photographer with a photogenic memory! Referring to your comment to me. A thinking artist I'd say with a foot into the literary and one that toys with the "mysterious" - secret camera huh - but it's really who's behind the camera that counts...I like this shot, very clean and graphically very strong in my opinion.
