Great shot! I think I would've liked the road out of the square to be centered and have it a bit sharper, but all-in-all a nice image!

I like this shot... it's well balanced, though I think I'd like to see it a bit sharper...

Great lines! The clouds are interesting, but not distracting. Perpective gives a sense of inconsequentialness. I like it

The GIMP is "The GNU Image Manipulation Program". It's free and fits my needs just as well as Photoshop does. http://www.gimp.org/ (or google for "gimp win32" for a windows version)

A great "day in the life" sort of shot... I like the expression on the cat's face, too

Gerhard -- it's a piece of functional art... besides being something nice to look at, they help control noise pollution near the EMP's loading docks.

I've been itching to shoot these things for a while now. Maybe this image'll give me the little kick I needed to go do it.

I think you're right. It removes some of the negative space on the left and uses the person in the image as a border instead of as a direct point of focus. Much better lines. Thanks for the suggestion!

What gall! Perhaps they need a more explicit sign like this one from here in Seattle.

Great shot! The initial attraction of the boat is balanced by plenty of other things to feast the eyes upon. Perfect!

Great capture! I love the texture and the cat's about-to-claw-someone look. The title is perfect as well. How do you like your Digital Rebel?

I like this shot. Both the capture and the added in tears are great. The image conveys the sense of sadness that (I hope) it was meant to convey. Thanks for sharing!

Hmm.. I do like your crop. However, I personally prefer the sense of depth the background flowers impart. After really looking at this shot, I think if I had another chance at it, I'd perhaps take a small step to the left to better seperate foreground flowers from background flowers.

I like it... the fence becomes a nice foreground that helps underscore (terrible pun intended) the subject matter at hand. I can't tell if it's the small size of the image (due to the size restrictions here), or if the headstones on the right all look a bit darker than the ones on the right... maybe my mind's playing tricks on me?

Ah... I've made a fool of myself and submitted the wrong image

How about this one? It's really nothing more than me cropping out an area that I think might be more interesting to me. It's all a matter of personal opinion of course

Thanks for the wonderful shot!

I think you've found a great subject, and I like the contrast. However, the image feels a little busy for my taste. I'd see this something like the attached... What do you think?
