lol Men with Brooms, the only Canadian film ever made... ok I lie, but it's one of the first ones people think of.

p.s. it took me ages to figure curling out. I just went along to support a friend. :P

Nikons rule! I'm glad you took it as a compliment because it was a compliment.

I still have a while before I get to your abilities. Always something to work on! hehe

I love the fact I can go outside and do some point and shoot photography (is that even possible with a DSLR? lol) and have the pictures come out clear and sharp.

In regards to a straight line, the entire canal is 7.8 km long, so you can pretty much get your skates on and go.

My cat Ray used to chew off the hair under the ears of my other cats.

Cats are weird.

Lol, get used to Doyle's jokes cause he never stops. =P I didn't even catch the pun at first. I was too busy thinking about how annoying burs are when they get stuck to your clothes.

But yeah, good attention to detail, composition, and DOF. It looks like snow was falling as you took this. Way to brave winter. haha

Lol at everyone's comments. You guys are so funny.

Anyway, I pretty much agree with everyone else. This is an interesting (and ironic) photo and the headlines are kind of strange. It is a reminder of how quickly things pass in the news though...

Wow, I can't believe the contrast between the soft background and the sharp deer. And these guys aren't easy to capture.

How did you get so close? A big zoom lens? =P

Wow, that's a lot of warning signs. It's not like it's illegal to walk in there if you're under 21! Maybe the owner got tired of kids with fake ids. Who knows...

The drinking age is 19 here and I don't even get ID'd anymore. (I'm 20 in May) At first I was like wait, do I look old? haha but then I realized it's Canada and no one cares.

I like this but maybe try an off-centered composition next time? Or at least that's what Doyle would say. haha j/k

p.s. I love palm trees and anything beachy. I have 2 palm tree posters in my room at the moment.
