No, I'm back home here in ON. Wish I could have stayed at the beach but you know, life goes on! (unfortunately lol)

Thank you Doyle. I bought a picture frame today to put this one and a photo of the other pink flower in. I've never put any of my photos in frames before and I want to try and start showing them off a little. I was def. proud of this one!

I have no idea. I know practically nothing about flowers, I only photograph them. The gardener had seemed to have disappeared so I couldn't ask her.

Thanks Michele. I had a difficult time placing this one in the frame because it was up against a wall and my tripod wouldn't fit.

Sounds like your camping trip was fun! I wish I knew enough about photography to give you a critique other than "great photo" but really, this photo doesn't need one. Looking at it, I can't find a single flaw.

I really like this photo and the way you've filled the frame and the selective focusing. Excellent work!

Lovely photo here Dave. I had no idea Ottawa was bike friendly and I decided not to take mine to school with me. =/

I'm not sure. I don't know Toronto at all. It was beside the Muchmusic building if that helps?

Thank you... I feel bad because I honestly don't see the selective focusing that everyone else is seeing. (My camera was on a point and shoot mode)

I think this photo is very adorable and the saturatioin is spot on. I like how his shirt stands out even against the green of the grass. It doesn't clash at all. The angle/lens you chose emphasizes his face well. Keep up the good work Mel!

Ugh, I feel your pain. The 401 is the most boring piece of highway I've ever seen. London to Windsor is even worse.

p.s. Did you notice the camera manual?

I'm not sure if it's the same for your camera, but my step dad figured out that it's much more difficult to take macro shots with my camera because the sensor is not right next to the lens. It's a couple inches away on the camera. This makes a huge difference.

I was a bit miffed as to why he could take extreme close-ups with his sony from the 80's and they came out perfectly yet mine was blurred... well that's why.
