In high school I was in band and we used to have 50/50 draws at our concerts. I still think you got lucky with this shot. The lighting is great!

This photo is very sharp, bright, and inviting. I like the composition and the contrast between the sky and land.

Wonderful portrait of this young couple José! You can see the connection between the camera and your models.

In thumbnail I totally thought this was a winter scene, until I noticed your comment about it being IR. You fooled my eyes! hahaha

But seriously, lovely photo, very deserving of an award, so congrats.

Thanks Doyle. I had a wonderful canvass to work with because the room was beautifully decorated and they had many lamps for lighting and setting the mood. Not too much light, just enough!

Thanks Doyle. Are you still away from home?

I noticed a higher ISO would have been better but I'll hopefully remember for next time. (it's not a question of IF it's a question of WHEN lol) Personally I think you lightened it too much. The night feeling is lost to me and the moon is blown out. If you want to play with this more I should send you the original because I had already edited the brightness/contrast a lot. Beware, it's a tricky one though...

Where are the others indeed. That poor lady is all by herself! Regardless, this is a fabulous beach photo with many layers to keep the eye fascinated.

The more I look at this photo the more I like it. Which is weird, cause there's really only two things to be looking at but, *ahem* lol I like your composition and DOF. It's like you were shooting something and the bird decided to poke its head into your frame.

Foto impressionante che mostra il innocense del bambino. Gradisco come il contrasto dentellare con i precedenti bianchi e come disteso il vostro modello osserva. Eventualmente questo commento traduce bene.

This is a good trick for the eyes. I think the angles you've used make this flower seem like a butterfly. Good DOF. Keep up the good work.

First of all I want to say I like this a lot and its softness and the lighting. You inspire me how you post such diverse images and they're all fantastic.
