What a great idea to use a prism! I really like this shot, especially the starburst effects of the sun poking through the trees. This has a very surreal feel to it which makes it a great abstract! Very nice!

Wow, talk about beauty and the beast. I think this shot has a lot of potential with a couple suggestions. It seems like focus is slightly off, the details aren't as sharp as they could be. And I definitely would have liked to have seen a more extreme close-up of tne snail(?). A crop of this shot with mainly the snail and a couple of the flowers in the frame would have been excellent! I think you had a great idea here juxtaposing the snail and the flowers for emotional contrast in the same shot!

Charlie

I really like the condensation on the glass and the way it blurs the background for you, and the well-saturated colors of the plants really stand out against it! I like it, well done!

Very cool shot, Carlo! Nice perspective on this, the climber looks lost against the vastness of the wall. It makes you feel how overwhelming it must be to be there in his shoes. Well done!

I like the reflections is the glass, and your vantage point (as lowly as it may be) lets us see just enough of the world of the suits/ties to wonder what things look like from the other side of the glass walls looking out. Nice perspective, good composition. well done, Charlie!

I like this one the best of your 3 new submissions, Elena. The composition is very good, I really like the trees in the foreground. The cloudy sky is a negative for lighting in my opinion; This would have been gorgeous under sunny conditions. Otherwise, well done!

Khoi, this is MUCH better! Not only is the lighting better, but the composition has improved dramatically with the addition of the shadow of the top and the brightly lit section on the left. Now there's various elements to observe in addition to and that support the main subject. Details are great and I don't think you need more light than you have. well done.

I really like this one, Rawabi! You've captured a special moment that speaks volumes, I can really identify with what we could be thinking looking out on the world out there. Excellent use of PS to create this wonderful effect. The lighting on the boy's face and hands is perfect, just like you suggested to me. well done.

Great shot, David! That's a pretty impressive cloud, and the colors are fantastic, expecially the blue in the sky. The lighting is perfect and I like the compsition too. Well done.

Nice one, Alan! Beautiful arrangement of optical fibers. I think I like the starbursts at the ends of the some of the fibers best! Great idea and well done, I'll bet there's a wealth of possible variations on this theme!

Elena, I don't give out a lot of 7's but this one gets all top marks in my book! Excellent in every way. Very beautifully composed, I really like the framing of the tree branches on the top and right. The beach area is gorgeous, you can see rock and sand underwater all the way out to big rocks, no mean feat from the vantage point you chose! The colors in the sky and water are great. The boats speeding past add a nice touch and the snow-capped mountain range is fabulous! I love this scene! Very well done!

Interesting shot, Khoi. With better lighting and contrast this would be a much better photo though. You had a good idea here, and I think you got a good capture despite your focusing difficulties.

This is a brave photo indeed, it takes courage to choose to depict death and decay instead of beauty and life. That being said, this is a very well executed photograph. The sharpness, detail and dof are perfect and the lightong is great. The blurred background and sharp subject combine to give that "3D" type of feel. Nice job, David!

Nice, I think the exposure you chose is perfect for capturing the water. I've been seeing a lot of 6s and 12s shutter settings and I think they lose a natural look in the water. Your setting allows the softening of the water while still retaining a natural look. As far as composition goes, I would have liked to have seen the source of the waterfall at the top of the picture, otherwise great shot!

Charlie

I like the colors, beautiful deep reddish-orange hues! Well composed, I like the capture of the small waves in the foreground water and the silhouette of the hills or mountains breaking up the sunset is a good divider between water and sky. Well done.

Brrrrrr, this looks too much like winter for me! Seriously, though I like the shot despite the season depicted. Very well composed I think, I like the drive curving around the fence and out of sight and the sky is beautiful! Well done, Rafal.

Nice image and the fog gives this a nice mood, but what's up with that distracting white blotch in the middle of the left of the shot? Something cut out in PS? Anyway, nice perspective on the shot, the trees fence and ditch make nice angles toward the horizon and disappearing into the fog.

A very nice beach scene, Elena. Well composed and the colors are really nice ocean blues. I like your perspective on this, with the beach waterline angling across the shot from lower right to mid left. Well done.

Nice portrait & nice to e-meet you, Emgy! Isn't Photoshop fun? There's so much you can do with it. Is that a posterize type of effect? It's an effective filter whatever it is, it makes you look painting-like.

Nice! Looks like your inspiration paid off with a well-captured composition. The lighting created some nice shadows and transparencies in the butterflies and the sky is gorgeous. The DOF is perfect, blurring the trees in the background and giving nice detail in the butterflies. Well done, Steve!

Charlie, there's something intangibly "correct" about this image. The great colors and the texture created by the evenly spaced "works" combine to create a very appealing composition but there's something more than that that I can't quite place. I guess waht I'm trying to say is I really like what you've done here.

Wow, very nicely done! A beautiful fall scene, the rocks and the riffle in the foreground really give the composition some character. Lighting and colors are great. Well done!
