This is a rather spooky but fascinating scene you captured in superbly.
The story behind the abndoned building really intrigues me.
Excellent composition with good lighting and lots of great details.

EXCELLENT! Is that light from the flash? ....because it is so nice that it does not look like that! Great flower, also original because of it is a not... perfect flower.

Great abstract! The boulets at the line (hope to right right...) at the lines gives depth and the shadows makes nice composition.

Thank you, Spenser!
Now..... about this photo, I think you had an excellent idea joining two equal pictures together. I don't mind the symmetry at all cause I like symmetric work and that's the way you liked the composition to be, I believe and I also think that you know that there are many possibilities of making a composition out of two the same geometric photos. The only thing I would probably change is the frame. I would give it a frame in one of the colours that's in the image, maybe a brownish one but that's of course a matter of personal choice. In any case a one colour frame.
This is a wonderful abstract, quite ok even without a frame. I love it!!!
The colours are very beautiful.
Excellent work, Spencer

The rather unusual angle makes this composition interesting.
I like the contrast between the parking meter, which seems pretty new, and the old building. Very nicely done, Spenser. To me this is 7/7 worth

I like this concept, but I'll list the things I would have considered doing differently (not to say that there is one way).
The all-black quadrant might have some texture other than pure black.
The frame... as I see it it is a texture mismatch for the images.
More minor point - a similar, but not identical shot for the two images would break a symmetry that could make this more alive.
All IMHO, of course...

Spencer,
Thanks for your comment on my 'Never fly away again' *series* :-). I immediatly tried some new shots and see the improvement myself. I hope you like it too. As always, experimenting, like yourself, is what we should do to keep our mind and fingers sharp...
I like your shot here, because it is very different from most things you usually see. Maybe next time you can let someone open the door and see if that adds even more to this shot?

Spencer, interesting image. I like the effect you have created. It seems rather ironic having these parking meters in front of buildings of this condition. I guess parking is parking anywhere you find it. Nice job! Regards, Mike
