Critique By: Michel Guyot  (K:345)

Promising, but it seems unfortunately to be tilted to the left and overexposed....

Grand classique parfaitement maîtrisé (ou presque: un peu brûlé à droite, c'est un détail...)

Excellent, just with a poor visual perception of the wet floor (not easily understood without your comment). Perhaps a sharper and larger inclusion of the floor without reflection could help.

Impressive reflexion, with a great DOF and the necessary, but not excessive saturation. The leaves in the foreground gives much coherence to the picture.

I agree with the first comment, it's too little to fully enjoy this superb landscape - and toning.

Excellent composition, the toning is original, but well adapted to the scenary, I like much the warm color of the most dark colours, the trees in particular.

Very beautiful abstraction, with a great graphic and dynamic force. (If I were to guess what it is, I would say: lemonade in a plastic cup).

The subject is beautiful and admirably composed, but I think that the exposure is perfectible: surexposition in top right, shadows almost completely black, without details. It is typically a case where the fill flash would have been useful. Photo nevertheless attracting by its great graphic quality

Serene composition, soft light, perfect environment.

Perfectly balanced composition, and magnificently adapted to the title too. The tonalities and textures make of this superb something between photo and painting, very creative and original.

Textures and colors supplement this admirably balanced abstraction. But I would have corrected the perspective so that all the lines are straight.

My initial reaction was to point a lack of contrast in the background, but it is obviously a deliberated choice, associating the mountains to the soft light of the sky rather than to the valley's shadows. This contrast is superb, almost magic.

Poetry, indeed. That of the colors, superb, that of the genuine textures, that of the objects now useless?Fine work..

Certainly more closely related to an abstract composition than to a wildlife photo, the cropping is splendid, the detail too.

Great qualities of composition, the curve underlined by the lighting is superb and the characters are ideally positioned. The beautiful toning reinforces effectively the mood.

Excellent night pict, perfect exposure and the curved building in the foreground adds a lot to yours composition

Very good subject, agreeably contrasted with the warm tones of the shutter. Could be a little more sharp.

The power, the impression of speed, the inclined framing, the tonalities and the treatment of the light, particularly the clear rail line joining the lower right angle, all contributes to do of this a great picture. Only the not focused branches in the foreground disturb a little.

The beautiful continuation of "desert colors", more dramatic, quite as natural and attractive

Excellent quality, particularly for this "little" camera. Breithorn is very impressive under this angle. I was 3 times at his top, from Klein Matterhorn, with good equipment and by good weather, it is without danger, in two small hours. Regards, Michel.

The wild force coming from this landscape is amazing. And the talent of the photographer who composed it including this tree is great.

Good minimalist composition, the background is graphically a perfect contrast for the silhouettes. Slight blue glow in the shadows on my monitor, but it is a detail? or perhaps just my monitor!

Already commented elsewhere? you thus know how much I like this extraordinary combination of slow shutter speed and sharpness, perfectly composed moreover.

Interesting use of the shades to create strong lines in your composition. Beautiful low-sun colors too, it's obvious. I would have wished a little more space above the peak, but it's a detail

I am divided between the fascinating atmosphere and some imperfections: bell-tower too close to the lamp, horizon leaning, raindrops on the lens? Still globally positive.

One of the most beautiful India's landscape I ever saw, perfect composition with the oblique in the foreground and the splendid contrast and depth, attractive light. Brilliant.

Skilful to have left some elements very slightly coloured: the oppressive mood is thus increased. Some doubts about the lamp in the foreground, diverting a little the attention from the cameras, the main thing.

Thank you for your kind appreciation on ' Jama Masjid '. I just took a look at your portfolio, I see that India also fascinated you. The sepia of this photo emphasizes the architecture particularly well.
