This is a very captivating image. I assume part of the reason for the unique cropping of this image is the loss of detail in the bright spots, and I think it works very well, as does the added grain. Nicely done.

Wonderful study! So many photos of people are trite or overposed. I like the light on the woman's hair and the use of orange(hair) and blue background as they are complimentary colors. Also by putting the woman in the corner it enhances the title....small space for woman and huge "sky" or space for the rest of the world. Nicely done.
