Lovely colours and contrast against the brooding sky. I tend to agree with Emma, but I could really do with a swim there right now! So damn hot here at the moment...

I'll have to try one of these IR filters someday. You've made this park look somewhat otherworldly. The grass looks a bit like snow and I really like the dappled lighting you've captured so very well. I wonder what it would look like with the viewpoint swung around slightly to the right, (to get more of the bench in shot). This would also retain the large tree as a framing device but perhaps not have that slight niggling feeling that it's blocking my view somehow. Good work again.

A great fun shot sandy, I agree with Roger in that it appears reminiscent of an illustrated children's book. The desaturation and ethereal lighting around the girl in contrast with the cold reality of the bed suggest her jumping from the real world into one of her dreams, somewhat Peter Pan-like. You could perhaps strengthen this notion with some more PS playing around if you wanted to. You've done a good job cloning out all the things that were in the room, but if I wanted to be picky I'd say just a little more smoothing out would make this even better.

Part of me is thinking "red rum! red rum!" but then again the impassive expression is ambiguous, so a little difficult to interpret. Steadfast, stoic, yet slightly vulnerable perhaps? Another quite different character study (and presentation) in your growing collection of imaginative portraits. (scrunch You've done a good job in extricating the girl from the original photo but perhaps a little broader feathering on the hair highlights to blend more gradually with the background shadows.

I saw this one first, but prefer the previous version. A stronger sense of emerging from the shadows and the colours are less fussy. Having said that, both versions are pleasing in their own way.
