actually i'm glad you didn't have a real camera. there's a beautiful, delicate, dreamlike quality which this has that a much sharper 'real' camera couldn't possibly give; it would have been too sharp with too much detail. the low megapixel quality means colours merge into each other and sharpness is soft at best. that's the way it should be.
as far as the image itself, you captured the perfect moment when sleep was deep and awareness was long gone. beautiful.
cheers
russ

Excellent Amber, more than wonderful, i like the effect to the maximum, very creative and talented for sure, there is only one thing, i would rather to replace the sheets with a black background, or a simply black, it would look more creepy, beside that it is simply wonderful, very well done.
P.S, Don't let the Vampires out in the sun

Ohhh, I like this shot! I think that the filtered pattern that you used takes away from her beauty/possible dangerousness. If she has hair, then show it, I think that it would help support the character that you guys have created. The beauty of this shot is the uncertainty that she portrays. You do not know if she is a predator or prey. Great work!

I would have rather made it a little more harmonic with the cutting, but I wasn't sure how to go about it. The original image was cut short as well, which didn't give me much to work with.

(hows about asking her for a smile?)
How much face did you have to work with?
Are you aware you can post wee 500 by 500s hereas comments. Do you think it is the check hollows are giving you gyp?
Personally I understand your clients satisfaction.
something a little more christmasy would be nice.

I like it. It's creepy. I can't reccomend you another cutting. Do you want to make it more creepier with the cutting or more "harmonic"?

beautiful! red, black and white is my favorite colorcombination. The picture makes me feel weird, it's a bit freaky. in a positive way. But maybe its a little too soft??
