Also - I think I prefer it without the "knobble" on top - depends what your view of digital "editing" is. Here is an example with the cross "flat topped"

Andrew, this is well done. I like the soft feel of the colours in the sky, and the 2 figures and the patterns in the sand add interest. Is it my imagination (or monitor), or is the headland a bit out of focus? i'm not sure if making it sharper would help or hinder the overall feel of the photo.
