very interesting shot, nice texture; I don't really understant what the man in the foreground is doing: taking a picture? praying? IMO it would be better with a less symetrical, more off-center composition - nice image anyway - regards - marco

this could be a wonderful shot with a different point of focus...the boys should be sharp since the title says you were going for them, but I would like it even better without the people

The exposure is good on the grass and not so good on the subject. It appears that the light source is rather low and this subject would possibly do better with strong light such as midday. The grass in front adds a nice framing touch but because the subject matter is not as vibrant, the grass is tending to get my attention first.

yes, the sun and dust, pollution are a big problem. I took shots at the "city of the dead, marybe 15 years ago had the same exposure problems.

Very good shot and good composition!! However you should have used some foreground lighting (flash) to expose the boy.
I miss Egypt very much, even though I was there just 20 days ago..
