Sinon, ces plantes me feront vraiment peur !

I find a lot of ancient Greek mythology here
Phoenix the bird
Fallos
( I wonder what he is reading - the tale of the Odyssey? )
Very amusing and interesting capture

A good sense of humour comes out from this nice shot, a good composition with appropriate lighting.

...what an unusual perspective, but then I'm beginning to expect this kind of Eifel point of view;>) Nicely seen and done Patricia.

Great perspective, love the lighting. Don't particularly like the guy in the speedo-type swimsuit..but I'll forgive that. : ) Well done!

This is a very cool perspective Patricia. The gentleman is so lost in his Harry Potter book, he is oblivious to the lady above. Wonderful!

Pat,

I agree with Jeanne that boosting the contrast just a tad more would be good but otherwise this is a lovely autumnal shot with beautiful dappled light....I particularly like the diagonal of the heavy vine going above the window...

beautiful beautiful beautiful -- love the composition, just lovely. Think I'd squeeze just a hair more contrast out of it to really show off the midtones. But that's me, and I'll certainly take this as it is

Patricia; this is beautiful! I love the dappled lighting, the composition w/ the big vine over the main subject, and the door is great. Of your photos, this is certainly one of my favorites. With the vines and leaves etc. it looks like the door hasn't been opened in a hundred years-- but who knows?-- a bit of mystery? Re the mistake in Rating, I think you know it happened to me the other day too and I over-reacted, ie wasn't smart enough to know it was just a simple error-- you're handling it with much more dignity;>. Really nice photo!

Ooops Patricia...poor Lou. You could repost.

A door of mystery, a door to where? The wall, shadows, vine are all lending themselves to a wonderful mood in this image.

Bravo.

Lovely b&w photo. Wonderful stories put together very nicely in a great composition. Many stories, but not at all dissturbing... work together very well. Great work.
Congrats, Alex

PS: thanks for your nice comments to my "Autumn in the park".
