Great photograph. Captures feeling in two dimensions, combining a landscape with a portrait in an unusual way.

Looks like an excellent area for nature photography, but I've never been there. Was too busy last summer visiting the normal tourist areas, (Lambeau for a game, RR Museum Green Bay, beaches etc).

Nigel,
The object's not to produce the best photo, the object's to explore new territory. Trust me, the original was just another photo.

Jim,
Thanks. Highly modified as 10 minutes work will allow. Actual photo was a hand held pan shot, with most things, the car especially, in good focus. The car was going about 80, but the wheels were stopped by the camera.

Great shot. I love the 3D effect, it's hard to repeat on demand. You've accomplished a narrow DOF, but with the primary subject totally in focus. Bravo.

Great shot
1. I like. Any photograph that tells a story a la Norman Rockwell.
2. I don't like. The 2/3's ratio. Not enough reason for the top 1/4 of the photo. Would please me much more if it were cropped to 4/5 ratio.
IMHO

Good point John, but the prop's not stopped. If you can hand hold a 500mm lens with a slower shutter than this I'd be amazed.

Paul, Thanks for your comment. Was looking for a surreal effect, not totally based in reality. While I can do photographs: http://www.usefilm.com/image/431134.html "soft" isn't one, it's photoart. yours is a photo, mine isn't. Apples to Oranges
