An interesting shot. If your main subject with the newspaper wasn't blurry, I think it would be better!

Great capture Robert!! Love the vivid colors and reflections. Wonderful work as always. How have you been anyways? I have not seen anything from you in a long time. If you are anything like me you are staying very busy which leaves very little time to visit these wonderful sites.
Glad to have heard from you and actually have a technical question for you. Please email me at ksiebert@gmtp.net or send me your email - thanks,
Karen

Old joke: "do you know why women are such a poor judge of distance?"
"Because they've been told all their lives (...hold up fingers in exactly that way) that THIS is six inches!"
Good lighting and exposure on this surreal image.

Hello Robert!
A clever idea. To my eye, the lightening of the background is a distraction. Would it be possible to darken the background instead and still get the "Killer Dog" message?

Robert - great photo - the model is not bad either. No seriously, as others have noted; this is a strong image that depicts a strong and macho feel. Well done. I am not familiar with the Herb Ritts photo but I would think anyone would be happy with this picture. Good job.

Hi Robert, this is indeed a very strong looking young man and a strong image, as mentioned by Darrin the tyres are perfect for this as it is a macho place to be. I think it would be a stronger image if you cropped it a little tighter and changed the frame, regards - Richard.

The light is wonderful, really shows off his terrific shape. He does look a bit too mad in his expression tho, more sexy and alluring would be better for this intent. I would definitely try this in black and white or maybe a blue tone for more impact, especially if he had a Herb Ritts style in mind. The tilted line of the ceiling above him I find really draws my eye. Some cropping, straightening, and monochrome might be something to play with for potential improvement. Still, as it is I am sure the girlfriend will be thrilled!!

Darrin, Thank You. I don't know how his gf found this one. But he was a bit sad because I didn't really understood what he wanted. He had in his mind the famous photo by Herb Ritt ( "Fred with Tires") and at that moment he asked me I didn't check it. :-) :-(
