The differing cloud patterns give great depth to the sky and the birds draw attention to the feeling of the evening air. I think the absence of colour is important to avoid these features being swamped by the sunset cliché but I agree with David Malcolmson's suggestion about the duotone.
This would look wonderful as a giant print covering a wall. Best wishes, Jonathan

Two versions of the same scene with two distinct meanings... This one is an abstraction expressing loneliness and devastation of urban life. The second version has chilling sense of abandoned city. I guess people left the city after realizing how screwed up and boring our life has become after seeing the version 1 :-). I like this version more since it?s more an idea rather than chilling scene?

I hate to be negative. I think had the shot been wider, enough to get the top of the builing on the right. I don't know, something is lost in the composition. A bit under exposed too.

Very good! Rules in photography are very good... to be broken Well, that's not exactly what I think, but I see rules as very useful guidelines, some people see them as laws to be obbeyed. Thank you very much for your nice comment on my "Pot on steps"
