I think it is a dahlia. These flowers are quite wonderful and can grow as large as a person's face, which I didn't know. Thank you for your kind words.

Wonderful, this image shows your patience in capturing something we don't see everyday and it's different too. The background has been blurred and the snail is crisp and sharp. Definitely comical and entertaining.

Love this, just wish the crop wasn't too tight. The sharpness and the contrast is just right. I like the way the feathers sway in the wind. Very fine.
