Fantastic capture Hayri... These power line ruin many shots but silhouetted it's a different story eh!

Nice job, but maybe needed polarizing to enhance the sky a little more - quite hazy.

Two diamond studs may have added further to the Angelic effect too.
All-round great!

Hi,
It might be nice to give details in instances such as this exactly how you arrived at the finished montage. The current information you provide expects us to believe it is one spectacular photograph instead of parts of at least 3.

You were saying that you were in fact drawn to blue - Maybe the reverse is true too ) This is a gorgeous colour amid cracking detail and thoughtful background. I love it, and require seven of your finest!

Hey John, I agree that the sky uplift works and the central composition works well visually. I would have gone a little bit further and adjusted the blacks in selective colors too, just to make the subject a little more Silhouettie!

I'm glad all that scaffolding has been taken down after it's millennium clean-up. I have shots from the same bridge, but scaffolding does not enhance the fantastic structure you have managed so well. I got thrown out of the Cathedral a little later on for taking long exposure pictures inside!!! Worthwhile tho' - Ha ha.

Great depth & colour tho' a little soft. Shows a great eye that fixed on something beautiful; many people would walk by and never see. This is the art of photography.

I thought you were joking about the sky from the tnail! This image is simple and effective due to the depth through those trees to the black backdrop of sky. Great exposure too, considering the extremes.

For your information the colours in this image are exactly that from the original slide. The effect the sky and sunset had on the turquoise water, and one reason why I took the image.

Rich, I don't mind critique even after 39 years of photography, but what I do resent is nit picking because you don't like the image... If that is the case I for one would ask you to pass by and keep your sarcasm to yourself.

Regarding the Bali image: This is plenty good enough that Garuda Indonesia picked it out of 35 shots to use in there promo's Shot at f11 how much DOF do you need?

Hi Dave,

There goes the neighbourhood :0)

Reminds me of our dives in Kakaban Lake in Indonesia, but this is by far a prettier jelly. Up to your usual high standard of UW image. Look forwards to more of the Scottish images over the coming days.

Cheers, Bob
