Thanks, appreciate the critique... Contrast is adjusted as good as it will go, the visibilty in this area is really quite bad; hence the 'hazy' look. In September 05 you couldn't see the pier legs until you were just inches away (oo)

Hey Jim,
This one was HUGE at 3/4" long.
I'm using Ikelite housings for the 810's and the E900 (which gets its first dunking at the end of the month).
Strobes: I use either the Ikelite DS50 or a pair of Inon Z220's.
The macro is obtained by stacking 2-3 Inon AD165 macro's externally.
The whole operation UW is a 'Manual' experience for greater creative control of lighting.

The camera has a superb chip with great dynamics and images look pretty good straight out of the camera.
Very little noise (far less than the D2x) resulting in far less post production work. Menu system is the best I've seen on any camera, so easy to use the manual is almost completely over kill!!!
As you can see the JPEGS are very good, but the RAW offers you more flexibility and finite control over colour and details.
AF is fast with DX lenses, but does get confused on my 60 & 105 macro's, resulting in a little hunting. Focusing options I consider over the top but this may suit some people. ie. closest object focus is a PIA in my opinion.
The build quality is almost as good as a Dynax adding to what is probably the best digital Nikon yet.
Photoshop doesn't support the D200 NEF's yet, but it'll be here soon. The supplied RAW software is not that good, but better than nothing ;o)

Love it... Only criticism would be the direction of the light and shadows on the ground. The big moon maybe better spun 180 degrees?

Cheers,

Bob

PS Fantastic Christmas card ;o)
