Priceless expressions taken here... only a suggestion about composition... try to crop a little in the upper side and on the right for remove the "white elements" that are a little distracting (minor note)... However nice work!

Well, I'll say why I like the blur. There is a sense of speed, of the photographer catching up the image the way the boy caught up the chicken. The moment will never last long. The spotty light behind the boy's head seems to move the image into the realm of memory, as if this scene were childhood recalled more than anything.
The expressions of the boy and bird are humorous enough to keep it from getting sentimental. The kid looks mischievous; the rooster affronted.
