Love how you were able to capture the organic, veiny structures in the petals. Also love the crop, making the texture and composition more apparent than the simple beauty of the flower. Great exposure control here.

Very nice composition and excellent lighting, Ulrich. The graduation from light to dark is really nice.
Personally I THINK I would have cropped the top more and made it a square image.

I had a look at your portfolio first after I saw this picture....didn't quite know what to think....you have a good eye. I'll have a closer look at your pics soon....
this orchid is quite unusual....positive to start with. :-)
too bad the white gets a bit lost in the white background of Usefilm.
But the longer I look the better it gets! It goes to my favourites...

Beautiful night shot. If you could take a litle left sida and change the shot angle it would be much better. I mean that the composition was been very well without the pipe line. Any way that is beautiful work.
