Thanks Aira, this was a capture of a moment in our family life on a Sunday morning. Yet, me as a guy who loves to photograph many many different kinds of subjects, I'd like to recommend to all to take a lot of time and care to shoot our/your kids. You know, landscapes will be there "for ever", but our children are growing so fast, time will not wait for us to do the job, tomorrow it might be too late to get the same captures. Last time I told my little ones: " If you could stand still for about five minutes I could easily see you growing!" Cheeeeeeers, Ferenc from Budapest

Thank you everyone for your kind feedback, I'd glad to see that "diagonals" really work as the leading line! To Mick: this Funicular is in Budapest, Hungary.

Thanks Joksa for your inputs by splitting the two doors into separate shots. Actually at time of taking the pic I also considered something similar, but simply couldn't frame any of the doors without the other one overlapping the pic while I tried to pull each of the single doors to an off-center position. In my opinion, your separate door photos have become too much symmertical, while the original version of "Two of its Kind", still quite far from complying with the Rule of Thirds, yet gives a mood of the good feeling of asymmetry for composition of a pic. Just my counter-thoughts!

Carolyn, thanks for sharing my happiness. Here's how its done in PhotoShop: select your subject you want to keep in full color with the magic wand, you can also add to the selection by holding the shift key and using the magic wand. Once you have it selected use menu Select>Inverse or Ctrl-Shift-I to change the selection to everything but the subject. Then menu: Image>Adjustment>Desaturate or Ctrl-Shift-U. Good luck and post soon! Cheers.

A beautiful composition. The mighty tower and the small flowers are perfectly emphasized by your proper adjustment of Depth of Field and tonality of the shot comes out perfectly on this excellent sunny day. A lovely pic you have shown us here. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Hayri, How did you know coffee and milk is my favorite starter of the day? Great, I just love the simplicity of this shot that shows how easy it is sometimes to create a fine photo while we are having a cup of our daily neccessities. The only thing I might consider to do is to rotate the pic by 180 degrees, coz I'm right handed...but, hey, just leave it as it is...I'll have it with my left hand this time... my right hand in just now riding on the mouse!! :-))) Cheers and have a nice day! Ferenc.

A beautiful place you have captured here Kaj, a real tranquilizing feeling I1m having while looking at your photo, but maybe a little mastering in PhotoShop would add to the color of the sky. Thanks, Ferenc.

Hello Mark,
You have captured a nice subject here, it is really spectacular, meantime, I would have pulled the window to the right side of the frame (or to the left side), just in order to fulfil the Rule of Thirds in order to make up a much more pleasing arrangment. Why don't you try to crop the pic again, accordingly? Best wishes, Ferenc
