John,
You caught a great action shot here. It definitely shows that something is in great disfavor with this bird. I've seen them get aggressive but I've never seen what looks like anger. I really enjoyed this moment. Thanks for sharing!

Very nice! This one should be on your wall. I have a thing for old prairie farm houses.

Stay safe

I miss this shot hanging on my wall. Shot basically the same thing with my first camera in the 70s, a B&W film and had it printed. It hung on my wall until it faded away. Probably sitting in a box now in storage.

Good job, we think alike. I'm living about a half mile from the BNSF mainline through NM, just moved here. Trains will probably be coming to my protfolio soo, in scenic NM.

Stay safe, brother.

Dave

Basically a terrific photo. The palette is great for the subject matter. I agree that the flat side of the chair needs to be cropped out.

Looks like an old time photo with this color. I might crop most of the chair off the bottom. Don.

Looks to be a well worked loco John. I often wonder about the size of the engines when I see the casing around the engine compartment. What does BNSF stand for?
Real sharp image.

I was desperate to get a train shot in the snow and failedcv miserably so I am really jealous of the conditions you have here.It is a record shot but texchnically it is spot on and a pleasant composition.

Brian,
Thanks for the comment, as for the pole and Photoshop...I agree. If this was fine art, I try not to manipulate images that are shot to document the moment. Thanks again.
