Hi Todd:
I disagree with Matt. I find the textured wall/rock used for the shadow play fascinating in its own right. The topic is universal, ie. it's what kids do when they make shadow puppets, and the simple pose with your subject facing away from the camera, IMP, moves this beyound a snapshot and into the realm of documentary photography.

Fantastic shot. The lighting is excellent as is the lightning in the distance. I think however that you cropped to closely the bale on the left. JMO

The branches are a dead give away to the scale. Aside from that it would take a minute to measure things up. I'd be interested to see this scene sot without the sticks in the way. But then again I try to leave no trace and that includes not changing the way things are unless out of necessity.
