John, I don't know why I didn't notice this image earlier. I positively remember this view. That reservoir happens to be the place from where I saw the most breathtaking night sky ever; I think back to that place very often when I look up at the stars. Now I see it again, thanks to you.

Great photo, solid black items are so hard to capture without loosing detail. Great focus..IMO you may try to lighten the blacks just a bit to show a bit more detail.

Subject is very well exposed, and the texture is very nice. About the only thing I might have changed would be the shadow on the fur by EM's eye.....A beautifull cat.
